Giving God A Round of Applause

Normally I spend a lot more time writing these blogs. This time, not much deliberation. Not much waivering on a topic. Today I first want to wish everyone a very happy Easter. It was so cool to see so many people worship together this morning. Second I want to reflect a little on some thoughts that I've had today. Next week we celebrate a whole year together. Some of us have been there from the beginning...others have joined along the way. I remember our first service together a year ago. It was an absolutely beautiful day. We met in a room which was a fraction of the size of the gym we currently meet in. We didn't have all the instruments--we had Tammy with her guitar and a microphone. We didn't have a name. Dave spoke about the meaning of "Classis" (Anyone remember what that means?) That Sunday morning was so joyful and exciting. I will not soon forget it.
God has blessed NVM beyond what we expected that Sunday morning. I think to myself, "If God can provide so many blessings within the short time of one year. Imagine where we will be next year when we mark our Second Birthday!" To God be the Glory!

I remember that day last year too! It was bright, fresh, crisp and joyful. I remember all the smiling faces that entered the doors that day! It was much like all the smiling faces that entered the doors at our Easter service yesterday except it was so cool....because I did not know many of them!! I love to meet new friends! God is so good and he continues to bless us. The journey with him is like no other! Thanks so much for writing on this topic. It has been fun to go down memory lane. By the way - I'm SO glad it's not just me, my guitar and a microphone! LOL God has given NVM wonderful talent and it has been a lot of fun serving him together!!!

It is amazing to think back to how we were in those days and then to see you now!!! God is indeed amazing!!! To be given the amazing privilige to be a part of NVM will forever bless me!! I am soooo excited to see how he will bless and enrich NVM this coming year and I hope I will be able to celebrate NVM second birthday with you all:) Praise GOD!!!!!
